Europe Trip – Summer 2013
In the summer of 2013 I will be traveling for 6 weeks through Europe. Below is a map of where I’ll be going. You can click it if you’d like to see more.

- United Kingdom
- Amalfi Coast, Italy
- Naples
- Pompeii & Herculaneum
- Sorrento, Capri, etc
- Central and North Italy
- Rome
- Florence (after London, Naples, Rome, and Florence, I may never want to see another museum ever again)
- Bologna
- Milan
- Switzerland
- Gimmelwald & the Lauterbrunnen Valley (pictures of this valley just make my jaw drop)
- Germany
- Heidelberg, Rhine Valley
- Bacharach, St Goar, etc (sleeping in a real castle for 2 nights!)
- Berlin (to see my friend Caitlin!)
- Denmark
- The Netherlands
- Amsterdam (my bike legs are gonna get a workout)
- Belgium
- Antwerp (where my grandpa was stationed in WWII)
- Gent
- Bruges
- France
- Paris (looking forward to the wine, cheese, and catacombs)
- Ireland (part of my mother’s family descends from Ireland)
- Belfast & Giant’s Causeway
- Dublin (Guinness!)
- Galway & The Cliffs of Moher
- Kilkenny

As an Ireland-native, I’m delighted to see so many Irish locations on your itinerary! 🙂 I’m also abroad in Germany at the moment for 6 months and so find I can relate to your “vida en España” experience quite well! Best of luck with all the travels! 🙂
I’m excited to see Ireland! It was hard to choose where to go, 45 days sounds like a lot until you try to cram in dozens of places that you’ve never seen before. 😉 Thanks for the luck, I’ll take it. 🙂
