Cartagena, Colombia (June 2018)
I didn’t enjoy Cartagena as much as Bogotá, partly because of the stifling humid heat, and partly because I had food poisoning for a good portion of my stay. I was there for five days, and I wish I’d just done two, and done three days in Medellín, which I regret skipping. Oh well! As Rick Steves says, assume you’ll come back.

After sundown is the most enjoyable time in Cartagena. Great atmosphere, great temperature, beauty everywhere!
