Erin Explores

Boston, Mass (April 2015)

Last April I took a trip to Boston to see my friend Vicki. The city had just had its snowiest winter in a long time, and there was still a decent amount of snow covering the ground on the north side of most buildings.

My favorite thing was probably walking the Freedom Trail, a walkable route through the city that stops at most of the major sites relevant to the American Revolution.

The Old North Church “One if by land, two if by sea” – many people don’t know that Revere actually got arrested during his ride and couldn’t complete it. There were five people who completed the midnight ride. A 16-yr-old girl named Sybil Ludington did the same ride but rode twice as far as Revere.

I also went to the New England Aquarium, which was great!

Here are some more pictures from around town, including Harvard.

After a few days in Boston, Vicki and I went to NYC to meet up with a former coworker from Madrid who was visiting the city. We figured we couldn’t all be so close to each other and not stop in!
