Erin Explores

Split, Croatia

Split’s center is dominated by Diocletian’s Palace (Roman) and the “new town” which is Medieval. The former palace has been converted to a combo of museums, private shops, restaurants, and accommodation. People are always strolling through it, as it should be! Keeping history accessible and alive! 🙂

Kayak evening! What a nice break from the city.

Of course you can climb the tower and look down at all the hodgepodge red roofs. What a sight!
