Stockholm Archipelago

Stockholm is amazing, and my favorite part is actually the archipelago outside the city. There are over 25,000 islands, some of them so tiny they only have one house on them. Yesterday we spent a day ferrying around. Today I went on a 8-hour kayaking tour and it was so beautiful. We weaved between tiny uninhabited islands, some of them so close together you could play catch with someone standing on a different island. We saw so many different kinds of birds and our guide was ridiculously knowledgeable about the ecosystem. I would highly recommend it for anyone considering visiting Stockholm. I’ve had so many incredible experiences of this trip and each day seems to be better than the last.
