Erin Explores

Hallstatt, Austria

Hallstatt is a beautiful lakeside town in Austria. It’s pretty sleepy in winter, but no less beautiful. I imagine in summer the weather is gorgeous and the water is dotted with rowboats.

I won’t bore you with my writing, just enjoy these pictures of the quaint little town.

Erin, your photographs are beautiful , what are you using for photography. Also , I know you traveled extensively last summer, did you use a backpack rather than a suitcase? You and your exciting travels have inspired me. I will be in Europe in May! Peace. J.T. ( aka Libby)

Yeah I prefer backpacks for lots of reasons. Both hands are free so you can consult your guidebook or take a picture or whatever. They’re way easier on cobblestones and stairs. And they force you to be mindful of not packing too much.

It’s so exciting that you’re going to Europe! How long will you be traveling and where are you going? 🙂
