Goodbye 2012! Welcome, 2013!
2012 was a very good year for me.
I experienced a lot of firsts:
- First time living abroad
- First salaried job in my chosen field
- First time going to Spain, Portugal, and Germany
- First time having an entire ocean between me and most of my friends
In all, 2012 was very exciting. If you had asked me a year ago where I thought I would be at the beginning of 2013, “Spain” wouldn’t have been an option, even in my wildest imagination.
2013 is looking to be a very good year as well. I’m starting with 3 days in Sevilla, and the weather forecast is looking perfect. Between my spring break, summer break, and a few 3-day weekends, I’ll probably be adding another 8-10 countries and 25-40 cities to my “traveled to” list. At the end of January I’m going to Porto, Portugal. At the end of March I might to go Paris with my Grandma and brother. At the beginning of March I’m contemplating going to Luxembourg for 2 days for a Killers concert…. all their other Europe dates seem to be on weekdays!
In 2013 I will also be taking Spanish classes, so that should help me improve my Spanish faster. Yet another way I plan to make 2013 amazing and rewarding. 🙂
