Retiro Park Pictures

Parque del Buen Retiro translates to Park of the Pleasant Retreat. It was a private park for the Spanish Royalty until it became public in 1868. Countless monuments, fountains, etc fill this 350 acre park. These pictures are just from the small section I visited on Sunday. There was also an orchestra playing in the park, which was a very pleasant surprise!
